Everdure's beautiful little box doesn't play music, but it sure looks like it could. In fact, the design more than an iPod dock, the E Cubo reminds me of Sony's old Digicube "Dream Machine" alarm clocks from the 1980s. But alas, it's built to heat your frigid room.
I wish I lived in Australia so I could grab one of these portable heaters and plop it down next to my bed every night. The E cubo oscillating electric space heater weighs just 6.5 pounds so you can carry it around your house all winter long. The heater is controlled by the detachable LCD remote—that's not weird some Australian music player. In the summer, the fan-only mode means the heater doubles as a desk fan.
